Advertisements

Without a shadow of doubt more “Wardonia” shaving adverts have survived that all the other manufactures put together and are still very common at antique fairs through out the UK and readily available from e-bay. Most of these free standing/hanging signs were given away to chemists and barbers shops when they purchased Wardonia razor blades. The usual Wardonia colours of red, yellow and black make for a very distinctive and noticeable advert.  Quite a few of these free standing adverts have a model number printed on the bottom left hand corner.

Wooden Printing Blocks **

Below is a selection of old printing blocks that I have managed to acquire which are a great historical item for both Wardonia and printing history in general.
